The basics: Born on Mars in the distant future, Juno's spent his life fighting crime in a world full of corruption. Juno's nonbinary and uses he/him pronouns but he's no gentleman. He's a lady. He looks great in a dress but usually wears a trench coat and an eye patch where over his right eye. Please pretend he has one eye in all his icons. He has a scar across his nose and quite a few over his body from various scrapes he's been in.
He's a depressed 39 year old Private Investigator in search of something new.
And now for the OOC stuff, including content warnings. Potentially big spoilers for the podcast, naturally.
Warnings: Juno's a former drug addict who came from a very abusive family (his mother killed his brother). He's formerly suicidal (or actively suicidal, depending on when in canon). They'd need to have close CR or be forced into sharing secrets to get much of his past out of him. I don't want to spring that on anyone. His depression and recovery from it are a big part of his character development and characterization but I don't get too into it for your average thread.
If any of that is a problem and you want me to tone down or avoid any of the above completely or you just don't want to play with him, let me know.
PLEASE AVOID: Domestic abuse, marijuana use, and suicide, especially falling to death. I'm fine with having the characters discuss it having happened in the past but not with playing out but I would like a head's up in advance, even just a CW in the subject line or a brief line at the start of the tag. Other than that, if it's IC for your character I don't have a problem.
Tagging Speed: I usually tag at least once a day. I can miss a few days if RL is being difficult. But I try to never drop a thread until it's finished. If I do, I probably lost the notification and you can poke me.
Format: I prefer prose but I can also do brackets. I use past tense for prose and sometimes in brackets. I don't mind if our tenses don't match. I have a trouble being consistent with present tense.
Backtagging: For memes and PSLs, pretty much as long as I haven't stopped playing him, none of the threads have an expiration date. The same is mostly true for games but I usually try to wrap them up within a few months so if character development happens I don't have as much trouble jumping back and forth between threads.
Fourthwalling: Strongly prefer not to. If it’s an integral part of the character ICly, it's fine. I mean, I'm not going to tell Deadpool not to go wild. But realistically, it's doubtful anyone's heard his podcast.
Shipping and smut: Juno's bisexual. He's pushing 40 so only interested in characters 30+ but probably not much over 50. I'm open to cross canon but that will require some quick planning to make sure they don't get off on the wrong foot and never recover. Not interested in power imbalances like boss/employee or student/teacher dynamics. Don't even think it, Rita.
I'm alright with smut if all players involved are over 18. Please ask first because sometimes I'm burned out on smut tags and they can take me a while to write.
Fighting with/injuring this character: Yes, please. If you want to do something that escalates to broken bones and/or beyond, let’s get in touch first. No killing unless it's planned out.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Sure. I'll write out what your character can sense/read. Expect a lot of grumbling and a touch of paranoia.
